I have trained in psychosynthesis which is a transpersonal  therapeutic approach meaning that it tends to the human experience holistically. With psychosynthesis as a grounding I respectfully borrow from a variety of modalities from traditional analytic ideas to more modern perspectives which allows me to be sensitive to meeting and tending to the nuances of your individuality. The transpersonal perspective of the approach  invites an exploration of the spiritual dimension of our experience but understanding the importance of grounding this in the relationships we have others, ourselves and to the world.

I have a background in creative expression as well as meditation which as well as supporting my own grounding as a therapist means that I am sensitive to the spiritual and creative dimensions of experience.

I also currently work as a reflective practice group facilitator alongside my 1-1 therapy practice. Group work has always been an important part of my experience and my understanding of therapy. We don't exist in isolation and although 1-1 therapy happens in a safe and private space it is also a way to explore how we to have tended to relate to others and how we might be considering this differently.

The prospect of long term therapy might sound daunting to begin with and of course there is no pressure to carry on with therapy for longer than you choose to. It does however offer the opportunity to explore the depth and complexity of your experience and so to discover the meaning that can sometimes feel lost when we are stuck in old patterns and ways of behaving.
